Felix "Happy" Wolfe from motorcycle club The Renegades is murdered. Fearing retaliatory attacks, the Major Crime Squad investigates. However, a second victim is found, Derek Simmons, from a rival club, The Vipers. When questioned, the Renegades deny any involvement in the second killing. Indeed, further investigation leads the team to suspect that Simmons was killed by the same person who killed Wolfe. Things escalate further, when Tania Haynes, wife of the Renegades' Sergeant-at-Arms is killed.
