Married and divorced twice, he has two children from his first marriage and one from his second. He describes Sarah, a theatre nurse, as proof of the adage "third time lucky". As of 2015, he was in the process of quitting smoking and has managed to go from two packs a day to just using an electronic cigarette, but in his own words, he “quits smoking every day”.
Career History[]
Spent three years with Joondalup Detectives, with experience in homicide investigation and organised crime. He has chosen not to take his inspector's exam yet, as he would rather be in the field than pushing a desk. An operation in September 2016 put him on light duties for six weeks (the rest of September and all of October). He is also a senior trainer with the Detective Training School and spent his time on light duties working with the DTS.
